It was the winter of '09 and all the fields had frozen over
I think it's safe to say at this point that you have officially made an entrance into the indie-rock pantheon when you have produced a naturalistic performance video with La Blogotheque or, better still, recorded a session with the guys over at Daytrotter.
Well, the guys from Fun. have done the latter.
Their session for Daytrotter was released last week, and I have to say, it's wonderful. Taking a few of the stronger songs off their debut album "Aim and Ignite," and stripping them down with a laid back jazzy/christmassy vibe was an inspired idea, and one that paid off, creating a unique and memorable performance.

Edit: There is also a Hellogoodbye session that has just gone up, containing two new tracks from their upcoming album and the criminally under-appreciated "Thoughts That Give Me The Creeps". Definately worth a listen!
